Environmental protection is the responsibility of politicians, not individuals as individuals can do too little. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Ecosystem preservation has increasingly become a major concern than ever, in which people have different views about the responsibilities of protecting the Earth. Some people argue that politicians should be obligated address environmental issues which could be virtually impossible for individuals due to their minor influences. In my perspective, in order to alleviate the current devastating environment, we should cooperative the whole society and every citizen should share the same burden. On the one hand, it is undeniable that the politicians might have more power and social influence on controlling environmental protection because of their positions. Most of them would be employed and work for the governments where have the supreme power in national management. Once politicians desire to start a preserving campaign, they would definitely impose it as a propaganda on the mass media and sometimes enact it as a law to appeal citizens’ attraction. By doing that, most of activities or campaigns would obtain a glamorous success in the appeal of the populace, hopefully
