Your English teacher has asked you to write a review of a restaurant in your area. You should talk about the kind of food it offers, the decor, the service and what your dining experience was like.

The Blue Elephant is a new Thai restaurant that opened its doors in the town centre just over a month ago. I went along with a friend to see if they offer a genuine Thai experience for lunch. The place definitely looks the part as I felt as though I had just walked into a restaurant in Bangkok. Even the waitress looked authentic, as she wears a traditional Thai silk outfit. The menu was fairly limited, so we opted for the lunchtime special of a starter, main course and a dessert.
First
, we decided to share some spring rolls which prove to be a good choice. For the main course, we had a Thai green curry and a large bowl of Jasmine rice. The curry was a little too spicy for me, but my friend thought it was spot on. After that we ordered a bowl of tasty mango with sticky rice that finished off a memorable lunch. Considering the restaurant has only been open for a short time, it was great start even though it was not busy.
However
, I am sure when word gets around about the quality of food, it won’t be long until they will be taking bookings only.
