I am writing
this
letter to apologize that I could not able to return your Canadian codebook in time. I feel nervous because of
this
as I want to return it now. You will be glad to know that it helped me a lot while I was working on my project. The given tables, especially, were much helpful in the ampacity calculations. I remember that you lend me the book with a promise to return it within a week, but there were circumstances in which I got stuck. My grandmother had a high fever and we need to admit her to the hospital. Even my parent was not there so I had to stay there for a while to take care of my grandmother. I hope, you will understand my situation and forgive me for the delay. Yours sincerely, Sagar Patel

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
