It is important for children to learn the difference between right and wrong at an early age. Punishment is necessary to help them learn this distinction. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion? What sort of punishment should parents and teachers be allowed to use to teach good behaviour to children?

Children are the tender buds of the society. It is indeed dominant for them to understand the difference between good and bad habits from a very young age.
Therefore
, I completely agree that punishing them is necessary for their betterment in the long run.
However
, parents and teachers have to make sure that they have to diplomatically make the offspring understand about the good behaviour.
To begin
with, discipline plays a primary role in the children’s upbringing.
For instance
, parents should teach their children how to behave with others and how to complete all the tasks in time, and upon not adhering with what is being told, they might get punished because of their inadequate conduct.
However
, excessive suffering could make children stubborn and rebellious, and
as a result
, they easily get influenced towards unacceptable habits. To add on, retribution is important because children should be scared of doing anything wrong.
For instance
, upon not completing the school assignment in time, the teacher punishes them, which bring a fear of discipline into them.
Also
, parents scold them of not completing their assignment, so
this
fear will lead to early completion of the school assignments.
However
, excessive
forfeiture can
Accept comma addition
forfeiture, can
hamper the cognitive growth of a child and one could become introvert.
Consequently
, in order to teach good etiquettes to children, parents should leave them for some time after the scolding,
this
will make the children realize the importance.
On the other hand
, teachers should deduct their marks or should scold them in person for their well-being. At the end, I would like to say that children are very sensitive, parents and teachers have to smartly make them understand that what is good for them and what is detrimental.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
