On a recent holiday you lost a valuable item. Fortunately, you have travel insurance to cover the cost of anything lost. Write a letter to the manager of your insurance company. In your letter describe the item you lost explain how you lost it tell the insurance company what you would like them to do
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing
this
letter to inform you about a suitcase that I lost during transit from Amsterdam airport
to New Delhi airport
. I have always booked travel insurance with your organization to cover any of the mishaps and this
time maybe I actually need it.
It was a blue suitcase with four wheels and was approximately 28 inches with additional pockets on the top. It also
had a unique yellow color
zipper which made it quite fascinating to look at.
I checked in Change the spelling

this
suitcase with Lufthansa Airlines at Amsterdam airport
and I was not able to get it back at New Delhi Airport
. I have also
raised this
issue formally with Lufthansa Airlines and they have promised to look into the matter. I do have the bag tags issued at the Amsterdam airport
and can share them whenever required.
I would appreciate it if you could help me understand the insurance claim process since the possibility of getting it back looks bleak. For purposes of quick contact, a reply by telephone would be appreciated.
Yours Faithfully,
XZZ
