The most effective way to solve the current traffic and pollution problems in cities is to encourage people to move from the suburbs or countryside into the city center. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Nowadays,
traffic
and pollution
are the major problems seen in any metropolitan area. Some people think that this
issue can solve with the relocating of the people from the countryside into the city
centre
.Personally,I do not agree with this
standpoint.
On the one hand, the most important solution to solve traffic
and its pollution
that courage people to use public transportation instead
of their own car.If the majority of people do this
, air pollution
will intensely decrease.For instance
, someone can take a bus rather than his/her own car if it is possible. Consequently
, not only air pollution
will decrease but also
there is no traffic
jam and rush hours.
Another way to reduce traffic
that brings some equipment and facilities from the city
centre
to outskirt of the city
. The pollution
will disperse all around the city
rather than making rush hours and traffic
.For example
, most the companies would rather be in the city
centre
while if they choose outskirt of the city
to locate, the employees will not stick in traffic
.Actually, traffic
will disappear if most of the companies do this
.
As a conclusion, when people use public transportation like bus, subway or taxi and eliminating some companies from the city
centre
the traffic
and its pollution
will omit or at least will disappear.Submitted by mayafadaei94 on
