Government should invest more money in science education rather than other subjects to develop the country. Do you agree or disagree?

It is undeniable that education is the most powerful weapon to change the world. Investing money on
science
subject by the government is thought by many is far more crucial than spending on other fields of studies.
Although
studying
science
has several future prospects for the students, I would argue other subjects are equally important for the growth as they
also
require funding. There is no doubt for many people the
science
stream provides multiple future opportunities that are the obvious reason why they insisting the government spend money to enhance
science
education. In order to, inculcate the interest of students among medical fields it is entirely necessary to arrange the
science
laboratories full of equipment, to build more medical colleges for the easy access of students. By doing
this
, the state authorities could succeed to enrol more and more students in the
science
classes each year.
For instance
, the
science
excursions, exhibitions and educational trips to the places of scientific interest would certainly arouse the curiosity among students to take part in these activities.
This
is the main reason why according to some people the state ought to allocate the funds on
science
and its related activities.
However
, there are numerous reasons why it is not necessary that only
science
study could develop the nation.
Firstly
, there is no guarantee that you will be a person who gets
such
exposure to study
science
since studying
science
is totally depends on

tudent's personal choice. Not all students are extremely interested in
this
field of education.
Similarly
, some students considered
this
subject the toughest one that's why they do not take the opportunity to study it.
Also
, all other subjects are equally demanding along with
science
so there is
also
need funds to be invested in these subjects as a whole curriculum is contributing to boost the development of the country.
For example
, history is a subject which has its own place to educate the people about past events and eventually it could help to understand the people about their rich culture and heritage. It is
also
possible that people foster cultural and religious values and it will lead to the prosperous nation. In conclusion, despite the incredible ability of
science
to form the scientists, engineers, doctors which could uplift the country's standards, I would argue other fields of studies has their own place which could not be ignored. So, that
science
as well as other subjects should have an equal investment from the government.

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 250 words in writing task 2. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long essay will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 260 to 290 words in writing task 2. This will ensure a concise essay and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 40 minutes to write the essay and you need around 10 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long essay in 30 minutes.
