The diagram illustrates information about the development at West Park Secondary
School
since it's been built in the year 1950. Overall, as is clear from the diagram, the
houses
had been replaced by a car park and a science block.
Furthermore
, the farmland changed into a sports
field
for the
school
. In 1950, the
school
has been built
next
to a row of
houses
. The land by the
school
was turned into a playground, whereas the
field
by the
houses
was farmland. In 1980, the
houses
have been demolished and been replaced by a carpark and an extra science block.
In addition
to the existing playground, the
school
also
gained the farmland and converted it into a sports
field
. In 2010, the building of the
school
has remained the same.
However
, the car park has been enlarged and the rest of the
field
has been split in two, which became the sports
field
and the playground.
