You are part of a group of musicians who meet on Tuesday and Friday evenings to practise in the community hall. You have been told, however, that it is no longer possible for the group to use the hall. Write a letter to the manager. In the letter: • describe what the group does • explain why the group is good for the community • suggest alternative days and times for practice

Dear Sir / Madam, I am writing with regards to the recent restriction imposed on the musician group for practising in the community hall. We all are very disappointed with
this
decision and need your immediate attention on
this
matter. We are a group of ten persons and we belong to different schools and colleges of the same community. As you might be well aware that our community schools and colleges are not providing any facilities like music practising or singing, we had established
this
group to promote talented individuals. Apart from that, as we are practising in the evenings, we are a source of entertainment for many old age citizens and children, who are very delighted when we are playing and feel relaxed. If it is related to the days when we are using the hall, you may change our schedule to any other days, when the hall is vacant and not busy. As we all are usually available in the evenings, we would manage to reschedule. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Yours faithfully, Kelvin Nash
