my latest purchase from your website.
Last
week I ordered a sports shoe
that is
of Puma brand.
Firstly
, the colour that I choose was red, but the one I have received is white.
In addition
to that, it is in an extremely bad condition, and I could figure out that someone might have used it previously.
Moreover
, there is a small hole on the left side corner.
Furthermore
, while purchasing it was communicated that I will receive a pair of socks as a complimentary gift. Now the customer service representative is telling me that it is not applicable to my purchase.
However
, I am a loyal customer of your organization, as well as facing
this
kind of challenge for the
first
time.
Thus
, I would suggest if you could replace it with a new one. I am hopeful that you will acknowledge my request. I look forward to hearing from you. Yours Faithfully, Shreya

Structure your letter

A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:

  • A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
  • The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
  • A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)

When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.

All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
