There is growing evidence that man made activities are making global temperature higher. what might be the man made cause of temperature rising how can we deal with this problem?

Since the dawn of industrialisation, man has been using fossil fuels are the main source of
energy
. While fossil fuels do provide a great amount of
energy
density, they do give out a lot of pollutants as byproducts. Fossil fuels when burned give out Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, and various sulphur
gases
as byproducts. These
gases
are greenhouse
gases
, as they trap the radiation from the sun, and cause a rise in the global
temperature
.
This
rise in
temperature
is what is known as global warming. There has been an increment of average global temperatures by as much as 3 degrees Celcius in the past two centuries.
This

some scientists even predict that the entire phenomenon of global warming is irreversible.
However
, there are different schools of thought at play, and some scientists do agree that with proper management of our
energy
consumption and production, we can to a certain degree reverse the changes.
Also
, considering that previously when the earth was warmed up due to natural phenomena,
such
as asteroid crashes, the earth managed to recover completely, that too, by itself. Some changes that can be brought upon in our daily lives to lower our carbon footprint,
