The maps compare some significant changes that happened in Ashford between 2010 and now. In general, the place has developed from a rural to an urban zone, where more houses and a marina have been constructed. It can clearly be seen that the town is divided by the river Tam with a ferry linked the East to the West

Around the formal housing area, there are several buildings and two more houses were demolished. Another road was extended, on the east of the river from the main road, which leads to the yacht marina.
