Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing
this
missive to let you know that I have recently organised a meeting in your
hotel
on 21st March 2022.We were allotted the conference hall on the
first
floor and we were in total 25 members who were part of the event. Every participant loved the ambience of the
hotel
as well as the staff members were very polite and kind.Though it was a 3-star
hotel
it seemed like we were in a 5-star restaurant. The
food
was not at all tempting and the dishes we ordered smelled like it was not fresh.We ordered several pieces of bread but all seemed to be of the same taste and texture and in the main course we have ordered numerous items but none of the items was delicious.In fact,it doesn't seem that the
food
was made in olive oil.In the end,it gives the feeling that we are eating unhealthy
food
. These were some basic things which the members didn't like. From my point of view,you should address these problems immediately by ensuring the quality of the
food
because the
hotel
industry is known for its quality assurance that it serves its customers. I hope you will be able to make some form of restitution to us for these inconveniences. I hope to hear from you soon Yours sincerely, Haman

Structure your letter

A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:

  • A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
  • The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
  • A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)

When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.

All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
