If children behave badly should their parents take responsibility and also be punished? State your answer and give your reasons. OR If a five year old commits o crime (any kind), should his/her parents accept responsibility and how should they be punished. What is the age of o child when parents no longer have the responsibility of o child's behaviour ?

First
of all, I want to take my
country
, Indonesia as an example. In my
country
citizens from
age
0 up to 16 are still considered as a child.
Therefore
, the legal
age
in my
country
starts from 17. But, as far as I know, from a psychology and sociology perspective, children below the
age
of 12 can not be brought to court because they have not reached the
age
limit to be responsible for their actions. I believe,
this
also
means if someone below the
age
of 12 committed a
crime
, their parents or guardians still have to take responsibility for their
crime
. Even though, in my
country
, if children committed a
crime
, the
last
option is to take them to a child prison. Since I do not study law at school, I can not say much about how the kids and their parents should be punished for a
crime
. Children who committed a
crime
, yet the case can still be negotiated for recovery between the victim and the perpetrator
then
must participate in a local Social Welfare Organization
instead
of sending to prison.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
