Dear Munish, My name is Rohit.
Last
midnight, I and my family came to your hotel to stay for five to six days during our vacations. I want to let you know that we are not comfortable in your hotel because our
room
air-conditioner is not in working position And we face a lot of problems at
night
. We did not sleep the whole
night
because the
room
is too hot. For ,that we
also
open windows of the
room
but there are lots of mosquitoes outside due to
this
we are not able to do anything which will help us during the
night
. To take some relief we hold our fan the whole
night
and wait for the morning time because we do not have any other option to do at that time. I am writing
this
letter to you take some action regarding our problem which we face
last
night
. You can repair our
room
air-conditioner today during the daytime. If it is not possible
then
we are
also
ok to change our
room
which has air-conditioner in working condition. ,
Otherwise
Add a comma
,Otherwise
show examples
we have only one option to change the hotel. Please let me know what action you want to take,
then
we will decide what we have to do. We do not want to face
this
type of problem again. Please take my matter seriously, Your's sincerely, Rohit

Structure your letter

A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:

  • A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
  • The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
  • A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)

When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.

All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
