bar chart illustrates how the percentage of

changed from 2002 to 2010. It is clear that the period saw a steady increase of 20

. To be more specific, at the beginning of the period, there was about 58

people having computers and it gradually rose to just below 80
percent
in 2010. In the

bar chart, it shows the relationship between the proportion of

and individual education levels in two particular years. Obviously, they showed a positive association: the higher people’s degrees were, the larger the
ownership
was. And the

ownership
gap of people with the same degree narrowed with the improvement of education levels: 25
percent
among students without high school diploma; about 10
percent
among those equipped with postgraduate qualification. Overall, the percentage of
computer
ownership
experienced a constant growth during the 8 years, but the gap among people with distinct diplomas was similar in 2002 and 2010.
