Salary is the main consderation when finding a job. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Salary
has always been the most attractive part of any
job
offer. Though I personally disagree with the idea that
money
should be the
first
consideration when applying for a
job
, there are
also
other factors that are equally important.
Firstly
, I believe most
people
hone their skills in their field to get a higher position and higher
salary
as
money
is the necessary part of covering their basic needs. To give an example,
money
is important when it comes to paying for housing, food, bills, education and so on. It is given that the
first
consideration of most
people
would be
salary
. If
people
choose their
job
purely based on their self-enjoyment, it would be selfish from their family’s perspective. Artists are a big example of choosing a
job
that they enjoy.
Although
this
allows them to immerse themselves more in their
job
as it is their enthusiasm,
money
becomes the
last
priority to them and in many ways, it can harm their lifestyle.
Nonetheless
, I believe that the communication and workplace
environment
should
also
be involved
in
Change preposition
apply
show examples
the consideration when applying for a
job
. To give an example, no matter how good the
salary
is, if
people
have to work in a toxic and virulent
environment
, there will be less productive than those working in a positive
environment
with a decent
salary
.
This
goes to show that if one only pursues good
money
in their work life, they will end up in an inferior
environment
in terms of positivity. To conclude, while
salary
can surely affect
people
’s choice of profession, I firmly believe that
money
does not outweigh the importance of other factors.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
