Write a letter to the director of student services. In your letter advise them of your situation explain how this is affecting you request a new card
Dear Sir or Madam
greetings, I am writing
this
letter to you with regard to a problem with my student
card. In fact, I have lost my wallet two days ago, unfortunately, many important things were inside it and one of these precious things is the student
card. therefore
I am in a critical situation due to losing this
, firstly
, I could not access the library, secondly
, I could not join other college activities, and finally
, whenever I pass the gate the guard asks me to keep my ID there. the problems will not stop at that limit, However
, my ID number is registered in the colleague system as a student
, all officers ask me to show my student
card first
they insist that this
is the document we need. I would like to request if you can reissue another copy from this
and I am willing to pay all fees required to get this
process done before the midterm exams. I went to the archive and they told me to write this
letter to you
Best Regards

Structure your letter
A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:
- A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
- The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
- A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)
When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.
All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
