WRITING TASK 1 You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. Two weeks ago you bought a radio from a local branch of a well-known chain of shops. It did not work properly. The shop took it back and said they would repair it. You have waited a week and it is still not ready. Write a letter to the shop. In your letter say what has happened and how you feel ask them to explain why there has been a delay ask them to repair the radio very quickly or to supply you with a new radio You should write at least 150 words. You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows: Dear Sir or Madam,
#minutes #two #weeks #radio #branch #chain #shops #work #shop #week #delay #repair #addresses #sir #madam
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing regarding the wireless which I bought from one of your local branches two weeks ago.
The radio did not work well and I returned it to the shop and I have been told that the device will be fixed and be given back to me but since
then
I have not heard anything from you. This
is really frustrating and I hope you can assist me in this
situation.
As I mentioned above the shop staff told me that they will send the transmission to their technical department for tests and if there are any technical issues they will fix them and usually it takes 5 working days. Unfortunately, it is been more than 5 working days and I have not heard any updates from you. I want to know why is taking so long?
Kindly ask you to resolve this
issue as soon as possible or provide another radio in the meantime.
Looking forward to hearing from you back.
Kind regards,
Sattor
