You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Dear Maam/ Sir,
I am writing
this
letter to inform you that due to certain circumstances at my work, there might be a chance that I won't be able to attend the lecture we do every night, possibly for a week.
My workmate has suddenly got an emergency back at province and I have to fill in for him during his absence. I'm already had my hands full with my own workload, add to that with my colleague's share of work, it worries me that I have to set aside my evening lessons for I'm probably too exhausted to do so. I would like to ask for your understanding of my situation and If possible to have a copy of the topics that I've missed or if there's an alternative for me to be able to attend like a live session or something.
I'm hoping for your kind consideration and I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest.
Yours truly,
