You are a student at an English language school in Brighton and are living in private accommodation with other flatmates. You have not had hot water or heating for some time. The landlord’s workmen have tried to fix the problem but without success. Write a letter to the landlord. In your letter, state your reason for writing describe the problems and explain how you feel propose a solution and risk the landlord to take action

Dear Mr Smith, I'
m
Angel, a
third
-year student at Brighton Institution. I along with my classmates have been a tenant in
this
apartment for a year. I'
m
writing to inform you of the ongoing problem with the heating system that until now, hasn't been resolved. As per the regulation of
this
building, any technical problems are relayed to the maintenance team. They did fix it as requested,
however
, it seems they didn't do a good job. We contacted their office for a follow-up repair and they said we're on queue, for there are others before us that requested their service. We've been patient in understanding our current situation but
this
heating problem has been going on for days now. I'
m
suggesting for you to add more technical crew with better skills. If being understaffed is the problem,
then
maybe you need to hire more. I hope you understand our current predicament and I'
m
expecting you to solve it as soon as the soonest. Yours truly, Angel
