The Greeting

Depending on the style and aim of the letter, you will need to adapt your greeting.

Always start an informal letter in the ways:

Dear + name
Hi / Hello + name

‘Dear...’ is more appropriate, so stick with this.

For a formal letter there are two options for the greeting:

Use Dear Sir or Madam if you don’t know the name of the person you are writing to.
Use Dear + surname if you do know their name, e.g. Dear Mr Smith or Dear Mrs Jones.

Your workplace is far away from your house. Because of that, it is difficult and scary for you to walk or take a taxi such as Uber or use another app to take you home. Another point to consider, these delivery apps are getting more expensive. So, in my opinion, if you decide to learn to drive and buy your own car, you will feel safer than before and you will be able to save a lot of money too. I recommend Al Saeed School and King Abdulaziz University Driving School. These two options are the best for learning to drive.
