Your friend has been offered a place on a course at the university where you studied. HelShe would like your advice about finding a place to live. Write an email to your friend. In your email • describe where you lived when you were a student at the university • recommend the best way for him/her to look for accommodation • wam him/her of mistakes students make when choosing accommodation

Dear Michael, It's great that I hear you have been accepted to my former university,
however
, I'd like to give you some advice about your question regarding accommodation during your study in Montreal.
First
, you might need to know that during my studies I was living in a one-bedroom apartment which was a bit far from the university campus.
Although
it is a very quiet and nice place, you should consider the distance and leverage it with the rent cost.
Also
, you might need a few sources to search for a place, and I'd suggest Facebook Marketplace or Kijiji. There are plenty of choices with their prices and detailed description.
However
, I need to warn you that do not let the pictures deceive you before setting up a visit and making your decision. Because there might be some hidden flaws which are missing in the images
such
as bed bugs and problematic washrooms. So, look carefully and patiently to make a good choice.
Finally
, I can accompany you on your visits if you can arrange them for weekends. Let me know if I can help. Best regards, Parham
