Dear Sir / Madam, I am writing to seek your help in finding my suitcase which I left at the Manchester railway station on 14th May 2022. I was travelling from Chelsea to Manchester in the 10:00 am train. Since my
bag
was really heavy, one of the conductors asked me to drop it at the luggage area of the train. Unfortunately when I was getting down I totally forgot to collect it. When I realised it, it was too late. It was a black coloured suitcase and zips, tags and all the handles are in white colour. Also
it has a gold coloured key tag and my personal details are written on it. Inside the bag
, you will see a lot of chocolate bars and fifteen odd story books. In addition
, it has 4 wheels and an adjustable handle. Really sorry for troubling you but I hope you could help me to find my bag
as soon as possible. I`ll be coming to Manchester train station on next Monday and I will ensure to come to luggage section in order to collect my bag
. In case if you want me to collect it before next Monday, please give me a call so I can make necessary arrangements. My personal details are : Name : Migara Wickramasinghe National ID : 851352260V Address : 459, Lake road, Chelsea Contact number : 0763595595 I look forward to hearing from you. Yours faithfully Migara WickramasingheSubmitted by migara.dak on

Structure your letter
A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:
- A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
- The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
- A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)
When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.
All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
