You are moving out of your rental apartment. Write a letter to your neighbour to say goodbye. In your letter say 1. when and where do you move? 2. why do you move out? 3. how do you feel about it?
Dear Mr Verma
I am writing to let you know how grateful the experience was for my 2 years stay at your apartment.
I am moving to another province on 28 September 2022 which is approximately 2000 km far from the place. One of my friends would be there and she has booked the apartment for me till the length of my stay.
The reason behind my move is that yesterday I got an offer letter from the top universities out there which is one of my favourites as well so, do not want to miss the chance to be enrolled there and be a part of the new experience.
Though I am very excited to study there, still not feeling good as staying here has become part of feel home. You have never let me feel like I was outside but rather made me feel like family members.
I am very sure that I would not be able to get good rentals anywhere. Your nice and warm nature has made it very difficult but still, I do not have any other option.
Thank you very much for everything.
Yours sincerely,
Jessica Sharma

Structure your letter
A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:
- A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
- The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
- A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)
When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.
All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
