Dear Madam, My name is Shikha, and I gave an interview in your company
last
week for the post of Project Manager.
However
, I didn't hear back from your team in terms of any positive or negative feedback. My interview went well, and I got good comments from the technical team. So, I was expecting a reply from your company.
Moreover
, you
also
checked my round 1 test where I scored 99

and that task was very difficult. Actually, I am asking for your feedback, because I am getting an offer from one more company. But I prefer to join your firm. If you could please me as soon as possible that would be great. It is about my career, so please respond fast. I hope you take immediate action after discussing
this
with your management team. Looking forward to your positive reply. Yours Sincerely, Shikha

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
