You made a mistake in classroom. Write a letter to your teacher. In the letter: State your apology Describe the situation Write about your promise to change. Write at least 150 words.

Dear Ms Walia, I am one of your students in Grade X and I am writing
this
letter to apologise for the mistake that I made during the classroom test held
last
week. As you caught me cheating during the test, I felt really insulted and bad for what I did and have realised my fault. For the past few weeks, my mother is sick and I am really worried about her health. Due to her illness, the situation in our home has turned bad and I am not able to focus on my studies.
This
was the reason I took leaves
last
month as well. As I was afraid of getting low numbers in the exam I thought of taking help from one of my friends and you found me doing the blunder. I assure you that it was the
first
and the
last
time that I indulged in cheating and I promise you that it will not happen in future. Please forgive me
this
time and I will definitely get good marks
next
time on my own without any help. Yours faithfully, Sneha

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
