LETTER OF APOLOGY Topic 3: You made a mistake in classroom. Write a letter to your teacher. In the letter: State your apology Describe the situation Write about your promise to change. Write at least 150 words.

Dear Mr Paul, Good afternoon. I am writing you
this
letter to say how sorry I am about the incident that occurred yesterday during lunch. Please, pardon my error which was due to my poor mental health condition at the time. It must have been about 2pm when I heard your voice instructing all students to leave the canteen hall in order to assemble at the auditorium before 3pm. I got the information quite all right but decided not to leave the eating area.
This
kind of behaviour is obviously wrong for anyone, most especially coming from a student. It is outright disrespect. After having a re-think of how I acted the previous day, I have come to realize my wrongdoing. I sincerely regret the incident and have made up my mind to be of good conduct henceforth. I promise to adhere to every instruction issued by all teachers including you. I am,
therefore
, making a commitment to never disrespect you or anyone ever again. I hope you will find my apology sincere and you will be able to forgive my wrongdoing. Yours sincerely, Harry.

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
