Universities should take the same number of men and women in each major. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

In our modern world,
men

 have equal rights in every sector. I think that the issue of
universities
 should take an equal number of
both
 gender in every major is one
that is
 open for debate. It is a topical question nowadays. Some assert that
universities
 should give equal importance to taking male and female
students
. In the following paragraph, I will analyse the issue and give my opinion in favour of those who think
universities
 should take a similar amount of
students
 of
both
 genders.
Firstly
, it is obvious that
women
 are half of society. Without
women
, no citizen can go ahead. So
women
 play an indispensable role, same as
men
 in society. Our university should give equal opportunity to female
students
 same as male
students
. If our female generation gets proper education at the university level, it will be a good sign for a country’s bright future. So
women
 should take their higher study at the university level same as
men
.
Secondly
, it is well known that today’s girl is a future mother. To build an educated nation, there is no alternative to give equal opportunities at the educational level to female
students
. If
women
 are equally educated as
men
, they can do jobs which will be helpful for
men
 and
also
 their families.
Women
 must cope with the man in every sector;
otherwise
, the country will be backdated. So our
universities
 should ensure equal opportunities for
both
 genders. In conclusion,
both
men
 and
women
 should take similar university-level education. It will be helpful for the development of the country.
