The charts below show ưhat UK graduate and postgraduate students who did not go into full-time work did after leaving college in 2008
The information presented in the bar graphs pertains to
students
in the United Kingdom who completed their graduate and postgraduate degrees in 2008 but did not immediately begin working full-time jobs. After finishing their graduate or postgraduate degrees, a large number of
students
have the goal of continuing their education at a higher level, regardless of the circumstances. It is estimated that there are approximately 17,000 graduate
students
who are
also
employed part-time.
In addition
, more than 29,000
students
decided to pursue
further
education in other fields,
whereas
more than 16,000 members continued to be without employment.
In addition
to that, almost three and a half thousand
students
have shown interest in volunteering. After graduating from college, around 2,500 individuals continued their education
while
still maintaining a part-time job.
This
was despite the fact that the number of post-graduates was declining. A little under 400
students
have indicated that they are interested in participating in volunteer activities.
