The graph and table below give information about water use worldwide and water consumption in two different countries. Summarize the informationby selecting and reporting the main feature, and make comparisons where relevant.
The line graph shows data about the usage of
water
all over the globe and the table illustrates information about two different countries about their water
consumption
.
Overall
, all three sectors showed an upward trend in water
use in the last
century but the agricultural domain remains the highest throughout. The table shows that Brazil consumed more water
as compared to Congo in 2000.
First of all, in 1900 global water
usage in farmland was highest at about 500km and increased consistently until 1950 then
increase drastically up to 3000km. While
industrial and domestic water
consumption
was more or less the same at the start and remained static until 1950, then
increased. Industrial usage reached 900km and household water
use reached 300km but still remained lowest of the all.
The populations of Brazil and the Democratic Republic of Congo are incomparable. Therefore
, water
consumption
per person in the former country was fee high up to 359m compared to later in which it was only 8m. Likewise
, irrigated land used 26,500km of water
in 2000 while
in Congo it was only 100km.
In conclusion, globally and in Brazil particularly water
consumption
in the agricultural sector was high in 2000.Submitted by areejiqbal437 on
