The graph illustrates the trading of instruments used to play the melody in England from 2008 until the current time and gives the expectations for later sales . It is obvious that music played on CD is tending to be less popular all over the period shown. When looking at streamed music. It tends to gain more audience. In fact, the percentage is growing constantly since 2011 with a predictable rise reaching 40% in 2018.
In contrast
, CD sales are not currently popular as they used to be before. In 2011 around 60% of listeners played their favourite hits using CDs.
This
trend continues to fall reaching a predictable drop of less than 30% in 2018. Downloaded melody
on the other hand
showed a fluctuating trend which started at 35% in 2011 reaching a peak in 2014 at 42%. In 2018 it is expected that the proportion will fall back to 30%.
