Rising university fees and scarce employment prospects for graduates results in low art education.

With the growing economic prices comes the increase in educational charges and with the current recession, employment, especially in the field of
arts
, has been quite scarce.
Firstly
, many young adults have turned to find work they are passionate about, one example of
this
is majoring in
arts
in college.
Arts
major can encompass a lot of branches
such
as theatre, music, painting and the like. But students graduating college with a degree in
arts
eventually have a hard time looking for a job
that is
related to their
profession
. In turn, they settle for something less or something corporate just to be able to buy for their daily necessities and art will just become a hobby that they do every once in a
while
. With
this
mindset, some pursue a different
profession
just to make ends meet.
Secondly
, entering
Arts
in college is very luxurious mainly
due to
the fact that students need to purchase a lot of materials simply for a project, to name one.
For instance
, an enthusiastic freshman might want to enrol in the field of
arts
but upon seeing the basic requirements needed to start, the student might just want to opt to shift to another course. Clearly, not everybody has the capacity to spend a sizeable amount just for passion, per se.
Lastly
, the blame for the lowering of numbers in
arts
education cannot be placed solely on rising educational fees and scarce employment prospects. Having a realistic point of view on life can
also
affect the choices of those entering universities.
For example
, entering the theatre is one of my dreams but I decided to enrol in a different course because realistically, theatre is not a good
profession
where I come from and I might have a hard time earning any money just because I graduated as an art major.
To conclude
, there has been an observable decline in the education of
arts
and there are obviously a lot of causes for
such
.
Nevertheless
, the
arts
as a
profession
still hold in high esteem.
