The diagram describes the production of carbonated drinks. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words.
The pictures show how drinks are produced through various steps.
Overall
, it is apparent that the production of carbonated drinks mainly involves five stages, including water
cleaning, heating and carbonation, mixing with other ingredients, filtering and filling and being packaged well in the end.
At the beginning of this
process, raw water
flows through a pipe into a filter and then
is sent to a water
softener, which is followed by a step using some chemicals. After being pumped into the electric heaters, clean water
goes through a cooling pipe to a container, where the carbon dioxide is to be added and the carbonated drinks come into being.
When it comes to the third stage, the carbonated water
, syrup and flavours are mixed in a huge tank. Next,
the mixed liquid is filtered once again before being filled into bottles and cans. Finally
, those finished beverages are packaged into boxes and transported by trucks to supermarkets.Submitted by Evalynn on
