IELTS WRITING Task 1. The line graph illustrates the proportion of tourists who visited Brighton attractions in England from 1980 to 2010.
The line graph provides information about the number of tourists who visited Brighton attractions in England between 1980 and 2010. As can be seen, just under half of the people visited the pavilion (49%) and the figures for the festival have not changed from 1985 to 2010 (about 27%). The Art Gallery figures peaked at 38% in 1985 and
then
dropped rapidly to 20% in 1990. From 1990 to 2010 it steadily decreased to 9%. Between 1985 and 1995 the pier figures had a slight decrease followed by a slight increase. There is a rise in the number of tourists who attended a pier from 2000 to 2010 (12% and 22% respectively).
Likewise
, the percentage of people who visited the festival had a gradual decrease from 30% to 25% between 1980 and 1985. After ,that it stabilised approximately at 25% until 2010. When the number of pavilion attendance rose dramatically to 49% in 1995, it slumped to 35% in 2000.

, by 2010, the majority of tourists had visited the pavilion with 30% and a tiny minority of them an art gallery with 9%.
