, there are several compelling reasons for the waning popularity of

among local dwellers. One fundamental reason is the different motivations between tourists and regional citizens. As the residents have inhabited the area for many years and learned about their culture and indigenous heritage, they find visiting

unintriguing. Meanwhile, a tourist's aim when visiting another country or region is to gain a deeper understanding of a brand-new culture
