 is consumed in different parts of the world every year.
Overall

it is clear that
 the largest amount of

 is reserved in the Middle East
while
 other regions hold relatively far less of it.
However
, Asia, the USA and Western
Europe
 consume the highest amount of
oil
. Regarding the percentage of worldwide
oil
 resources, the Middle East holds the biggest share of
oil
, with 56.52 %. Canada is in second place, with 14.84 %. The figure for continents,
such
 as Central and South America, Eastern
Europe
 and Africa does not exceed 10 % in total,
whereas
 other areas hold a negligible quantity of
oil
. Turning to the usage of
oil
 on an annual basis, Asia and the USA take a lead, with 26.21 % and 25.48 %, respectively. Just under a fifth of

 is consumed by Western
Europe
, which follows by the USA and Asia. Even though the Middle East reserves most

, it consumes only 6.15 %, which is quite close to the percentage of Central and South America and Eastern
