You successfully passed a job interview. You are expected to start on November 15, but you will not be available on that date. Write a letter to your new boss, explaining your situation, expressing your concern and suggesting a solution

Dear Sir or Madam, My name is Sinan. Recently, I passed an interview for the position of forklift repairman in your organisation, and I have received the offer letter for the same. I am supposed to report on November 15th;
however
, I regret to inform you that I cannot join on the pre-agreed date. I have been down with chickenpox for almost a week now. My doctor advised me to stay at home because it is a highly contagious disease. I am not feeling well either
due to
blisters all over my body and the running temperature. My physician suggested taking one more week of bed rest to recover completely. I can submit a medical certificate highlighting my current state of health from my doctor if required. I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience
this
may cause, but as you know, there is nothing I could have done to avoid
this
situation. I am hoping that
this
will not affect our relationship. I am requesting that you kindly postpone my date of joining to November 30th.
Also
, please let me know if I will need to submit any other form of proof. Thanks for your consideration. Yours sincerely, Sinan Y
