The three pie charts illustrate how much components like sodium, saturated fat and sugar (which are not healthy in big quantities) are used in the main daily meals in the USA. Units are measured in percentages.
Overall
, it can be seen that during lunch and dinner time, lots of salt (containing sodium) and fats are used,
however
, sugar amounts are at their peak during eating a snack. Evening meals are the ones, containing most of the unhealthy substances (43% of sodium, 37% bad grease and 23% sweets). Breakfasts are the most healthy ones with approximately 15% of every harmful ingredient. Somewhere in the medium are the suppers in the middle of the day and little snacks. The biggest portion of unhealthy components in lunches is taken by salt (29%), followed by fats and sugar (26% and 19% respectively). Snacks are full of sweets, as can be seen by their high score (42%), ,
moreover
, they
also
have lots of the other two unhealthy components between 14% and 20%.
