The process diagram details five steps of how electricity is produced using geothermal energy.
First,
cold water
is pumped down underground for 4.5 km. through the injection well. Then
, it goes all the way through the hot rocks zone or other words Geothermal zone. This
zone will heat up the cold water
while
it travels, resulting in cold water
being turned into hot water
.
Next,
the hot water
that arrives at the entrance of the production well is then
pumped up to the ground, entering the condensing process ready for Step four. After, hot water
in the condenser room is turned into a large amount of steam.
Last
last
step but not least, steam enters a turbine in order to make it move around so that the power it generates is more than enough to trigger the generator leading to the final process which is the production of electricity.Remove the redundancy
