The first diagram illustrates the life cycle of the silkworm
while
the second diagram shows the
stages
in the production of
silk
cloth .
Overall
there are five different
stages
in the life cycle of moths starting from laying eggs on a green leaf to becoming an adult insect . The
silk
cloth
stages
begin with boiling cocoons in the water and ending it with a weave to be dried .
Initially
, eggs are laid on the underside of lead , and it remains there for ten
days
. After that , silkworm larvae hatch on green mulberry leaves which are considered their food . Eventually, the silkworm larva takes four to six weeks to produce
silk
thread
and the larva can be seen . Gradually, the
silk
thread
becomes a cocoon after three to eight
days
of processing.
At the end
of the
stages
, an adult moth emerges within 16
days
and life the cycle starts again. The second diagram shows that the cocoon takes 16
days
to become a moth eventually, it will be selected to be boiled in hot water .After that , it is unwinded to form a
thread
from 300m to 900m .The next stage is drying and weaving.
At the end
of the process, the
silk
thread
is dyed.
