The table below shows information about age, average income per person and population below poverty line in three states in the USA. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting and make comparisons where relevant.
The table illustrates the proportions of premature and elderly
people
, average income per capita and impoverished
people
in
California
,
Utah
and Florida. As can be seen from the table,
California
had the highest economic output per capita, but the greatest poverty population. Meanwhile,
Utah
had the most
people
under 18 and the least poor individuals of the three regions. To commence with, a
California
person on average made 23.000 dollars, which was slightly higher than that in Florida at 22.000 dollars.
Although
a
Utah
worker’s income was much lower at 17.000, the state’s poverty rate was significantly lower at 9% compared to
California
’s and Florida’s at 16% and 12% respectively. In terms of age, 28% of the
people
in
Utah
were under 18
whereas
those over 60 were only 8%. Surprisingly,
this
was the only region where young
people
outnumbered senior citizens. In comparison,
California
had marginally higher premature individuals than Florida, and its grey population was 10% lower than Florida’s at 13% and 23% sequentially.
