You have lost an item of value on a train. Write a letter to the railway company. In your letter ->describe the item ->explain where and when you left it ->say what action you would like the company to take
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to report the loss of a personal valuable item on the train. To commence with, the item was my
wallet
, which was navy blue in colour and it has many valuable items in it, for example
: my personal documents, debit card, credit card and more importantly there will be personal photos. It can be identified with its cross mark on the backside.
Moreover
, yesterday I was coming from Dorval, Montreal to Ottawa railway station by the last
train and reached here around 9 PM. I used my wallet
to show the ticket to the ticket collector so my wallet
was with me until 9:15 PM.
I would like to request officials to check if someone found a wallet
in lost and found section of railway department, which matches with the description outlined above.
I am looking forrward to hearing from you.
Yours failthfully,
