The two maps illustrate how Grange Park has changed from its opening in 1920 to the present. As can be seen from the pictures, the garden has been dramatically transformed after the construction of several entertainment facilities over the given period. In 1920, visitors could enter the park from the Northern or Southern entrance on Arnold Avenue or Eldon Street, but now they can get in by a new entrance from the underground parking. There were a fountain located at the centre of the park and a large stage for musicians on the left-hand side of the fountain, but now both have been replaced by a huge rose garden surrounded by many seats and a large amphitheatre for concerts. Looking at the first picture, the stage was midway between two rose gardens, with many seats placed next to them. There was another rose garden to the east of the Northern entry, but it has been converted into a cafe.
