Dear Jay, I’m writing to let you know I missed my flight because the airline's staff messed up. I checked in to the Business Class lounge one hour before departure, and the receptionist told me the flight has been delayed by an hour
due to
technical issues. When I asked them later, they said the plane took off at the scheduled time since the issue was fixed much earlier than anticipated,
while
I was still in the lounge. When I asked one of the staff why they didn't let me know, she didn't even respond to me. When I asked twice, she asked me to leave and even threatened to get me arrested,
also
refusing to refund my ticket. I had no other option but to buy another ticket for the next morning's plane at an elevated price. How about we catch up some other time, huh? Let me know when you will visit the town next time. We can go bowling and have fish and chips at Andrew's place, just like in the old days. See you soon buddy. Yours, Chris
