You currently live in a rental apartment, and the noise from your neighbours disturbs you. Write a letter to your landlord. In your letter - describe how this situation affects you - explain what steps you have taken to address the problem - ask the landlord to take action to resolve the issue
Dear Sir,
I am your tenant living at apartment no 105 in your City Town Building. I am writing to let you know that I am having difficulty
due to
my neighbour's behaviours, which have been greatly affecting my living.
I have been bothered by the noises from my neighbours' apartments. Mostly they play music at high volumes, and almost always party till late at night. I am a working student, going to classes in the morning and working for a whole day. With all the noises, I haven't been able to sleep, resulting in my poor performance in my job and study and, also
deteriorating my health.
I have tried to solve this
issue on my own, asking them if they could play with smaller pitches and finish it off early. They, however
, completely dismissed my request stating this
is the way they live, and that they have no intention of rectifying their behaviour.
Can you please relocate me to any other apartment of yours where I can enjoy some peaceful neighbourhood and carry on with my normal life? I would like to be moved particularly to the one near the University area. If not, I don't mind living anywhere around the city, as long as it is affordable and peaceful.
I urge you to look into this
issue as soon as possible.
Yours faithfully,
John SmithSubmitted by sth.kumar2010 on
