The line chart shows average attendance at the cinema among various age groups in the US from 2000 to 2011.
The graph explains portions of people who go to the cinema in different age categories between 2000 and 2011 in the US. Generally speaking, the percentage of people aged 15 to 24 was the highest,
while
the oldest category (35 and over) was the lowest during the years of study. Focusing on the elder and second youngest case, the former rose steadily from 16% in 2000 to 33% until 2004 and after a slight decrease, its figure soared to 44% in late 2005. Following some fluctuation, the figure reached its final value of 52% in 2011. The latter marginally increased to 9% until 2007, after which saw a little fall and started to increase to 12% until the
last
year of study.
On the other hand
, the youngest group started at 10% in 2000 and experienced some up-and-down until its final value which was 30% in 2011.
Although
those aged 25-35, started from 5% in 2000, and followed a similar trend until 2008, during the
last
3 years of study the fluctuation of
this
category was different from the previous one.
However
, like the 7–14-year people group, they reached the same final point.
