you have brought some clothing online and are not satisfied with the purchase. Write a letter to the compagny that you bought the clothing from. In your email - Give details of the purchase -describe the problem -explain why you need a replacement urgently
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to complain about an article that I bought in your online shop
last
month and which is just arrived today. Although
the item I ordered is Brown leather shoes in size 12 as you can see on the purchase, I received black shoes in 11. It doesn't fit properly on my feet and cannot imagine wearing it for the whole day. moreover
, the colours don't match the suit I already have.
I commanded these for the wedding of my sister which is in 2 weeks. I would appreciate it if you could replace it in the brief delay. I am missing time, and if you could send it on time because of your stock or the delivery shipping time, I would like to suggest that you could send me a letter to pick it up at your closest shop.
I look forward to receiving your response.
Yours faithfully

The Greeting
Depending on the style and aim of the letter, you will need to adapt your greeting.
Always start an informal letter in the ways:
- Dear + name
- Hi / Hello + name
‘Dear...’ is more appropriate, so stick with this.
For a formal letter there are two options for the greeting:
- Use Dear Sir or Madam if you don’t know the name of the person you are writing to.
- Use Dear + surname if you do know their name, e.g. Dear Mr Smith or Dear Mrs Jones.
