The graph below shows the average monthly change in the prices of three metals during 2014.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The given graph illustrates the percentage of average monthly rises or falls in how much copper,
nickel
and
zinc
cost throughout 2014. The initial impression is that
while
the
change
in the
price
of
nickel
and copper experienced a decreasing trend, there was an increasing trend in the
change
of
price
of
zinc
in the given period of time. In terms of
nickel
and
zinc
,as can be seen,
while
nickel
change
in
price
was 6%, which was the highest figure in the whole period, at the beginning of 2014, the
change
in the
price
of
zinc
was 1%, which was the lowest. From January to
March
, the percentage of
change
in the
price
of
nickel
fell sharply by 5%.
In contrast
,
zinc
experienced a significant increase until February and a small fall to
March
. Between
March
to November,
nickel
and
zinc
witnessed a similar pattern and there was a dip of - 3% and -1% in
nickel
and
zinc
respectively, which was followed by a growth in the
price
of both metals. From July to September,
nickel
and
zinc
remained at the same level of 3% and 1% respectively.
At the end
of the year,
although
zinc
was responsible for the highest percentage of
change
, which was 2%, the
change
in the
price
of
nickel
was the lowest, which was 1%. Turning next to copper,
it is clear that
it dropped considerably from January to
March
when it reached a dip of about -0.5% of
change
.
Although
it plateaued at 1% from July to September, it grew to approximately 1.5% in December.
