Dear Manager,
This
 is Nancy Davis from the executive apartment writing in regard to a financial subsidy for a printing machine in our office. At the moment, the printer is only capable of printing black and white paper materials. Though it satisfies the majority of our work requirements, we need to colour the printing by ourselves on hand line by line sometimes.
For instance

 month's financial report, there were a few mistakes our group found and needed to report to the upper executive group. Without a coloured machine, our members spent about 2 business days completing the job. It not only caused a delay in the submission, but

 affected the later jobs carried on.

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
